I advise as an attorney-at-law and tax advisor at the interfaces of banking law, financial supervisory law, regulation and financing. The focus is on financial services, regulated markets as well as sophisticated financing, investment and transformation projects.
Advisory approach
At the centre of my advice is the development of viable structures. Complex projects can rarely be solved in isolation from a legal, regulatory or financial perspective. Successful solutions arise where these questions are brought together.
I do not view financing, regulation and public funding as separate disciplines, but as interconnected elements of successful implementation. Regulatory requirements are considered at an early stage and incorporated into the structuring of projects, financings and business models.
Experience
My experience ranges from heading the international business legal department of an international active german Landesbank to structuring large-volume project, corporate and infrastructure financings and to designing and further developing support programmes for development banks. My clients include banks, financial service providers, companies at different stages of development, investors, development banks and the public sector.
I advise on infrastructure, energy, digitalisation and transformation projects as well as regulatory projects and transactions in Financial Services and other regulated markets.
